This place has got to be one of my favorite chinese restaurants in berkeley, honestly probably one of the best bang for the buck places in berkeley. Its got food for everyone.
The restaurant itself actually has a nicer seating area than most restaurants in berkeley and includes two floors. I usually go for the salt and pepper garlic pork that is fried. On it has chopped jalapenos to give it a kick. Instead of the usual rice that is served, I get the upgrade just for a little more for eggs in my rice, an egg roll, and thai tea.
There are a ton of options here, just like any chinese restaurant so im sure you will find something you like. And if you dont like it, add srriracha and chilli oil on your food till its good. -

Okay Chinese food for a low price. Probably not the best place to grab food with a huge party (6+) (there is a second floor for more seating, but not too much). Good for ordering a single dish, especially if you're on a budget, and stays open pretty late at night.
Food-wise, a 3.5/5. Decent tasting food that seems authentic, but perhaps not executed to the highest degree. I ordered the curry pork rice, which was pretty good and filling! However, the price is definitely where the selling point is. For food under $10, that's a pretty unique find.
Service-wise, a 3.5/5. Nice cashier, but don't expect any wait service. Mostly for personal pick up and meals.
Ambiance-wise, a 2/5. Pretty cramped, not the cleanest (tables are pretty sticky) and not the cleanest restroom. -

This place has some gooood rice and yum chicken! My favorite dish is the Szechuan Chicken, though I've also tried the Sweet and Sour Pork and that wasn't bad but definitely not as good as the chicken. I've come here on and off for almost 3 years, and though the price has risen a bit and the portions are getting just a *tad* bit smaller, the food is still pretty good and very satisfying. I used to be able to split one meal into two with the portion sizes here, but now can eat an entire plate in one sitting - partially because they give less rice now (one large scoop instead of two) and also maybe because my stomach has just gotten bigger, who knows? This is my favorite place to visit when I'm craving some Chinese food or just rice after eating Western food all the time, and it doesn't disappoint!

This place is actually pretty good and now they accept card! Cheap Chinese food :)
Food: I came here several times recently after I heard they started accepting credit cards and I've been pleasantly surprised. I ordered the duck wonton soup and the pineapple fried rice and both were delicious. I thought that the duck in the wonton soup was really good and overall it was a warm tasty meal on a cold day. The pineapple fried rice lacked a bit of flavor but it was really good after I put Sriracha on it.
Service: self serve and pay first and then eat, but really nice people who work at the front counter
Ambience: lots of space and tables in the back -

I am a Chinese and decide to eat Chinese food when I in this area. Price is pretty reasonable but the food tastes just soso. I ordered a hannan chicken, chicken so dry. I saw lots of UCB students eat inside the restaurant. I think this is a place for nearby student.
